Viewing Current Defects

Anyone can review any open issues by selecting the 'View Tickets' option.
Select a specific ticket to review the progress that has been made towards fixing the issue

Reporting New Defects

If you wish to report new issues (ie create a new ticket), you must have a login name and password.
If you wish to register, please send a request to support@products.linn.co.uk

Creating a New Ticket

  • Login and select 'New Ticket.'
  • Make sure the 'Summary' is as descriptive as possible.
  • Add as much detail as possible to the description, including system logs, diagnostic reports, and crash data if possible. These can all be retreived using LinnConfig.
  • If reporting a fault, change the 'Type' to defect
  • If requesting a new feature, change the 'Type' to enhancement
  • Select your device under the 'Milestone' option
  • Note: Defects against open source software, such as Kinsky Desktop or Kinsky PDA, should be reported  here
  • Select the software version you are using for 'Reported Against'
  • Assign your ticket...
    End users: bug-owner-release
    Beta Testers: bug-owner-beta (if testing against beat software)
    Developers: bug-owner-development (if testing against development software)
    Advanced users only: assign directly against a known engineer
